Opiates, opioids and analgesics - comprehensive blood test (serum)

Why this test?

This test accurately shows whether opiates, opioids and various painkillers or designer drugs are present in the blood. It is suitable for:

• Abuse or intoxication - suspicion of (designer) drugs or illicit drug use.

• Therapy monitoring - checking that prescribed pain medication is being taken correctly.

• Compliance monitoring - in treatment programs or addiction treatment.

What is measured

LC-MS/MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) is used to qualitatively and quantitatively search for the substances listed below and their major metabolites:
