With this test we measure the amount of glucose and insulin in your blood after a period of at least 12 hours of fasting.
On the basis of these values we can calculate whether insulin and glucose are in balance or whether there is insulin resistance or (pre)diabetes 2.In
addition, this value is a good indicator of the success of your health efforts.
It is wise to repeat this test after a while.

For this test you must be sober .This means: From 8:00 p.m. the night before the blood draw, do not eat. From 8:00 p.m. you may only drink water.
