IgE Inhalation mix large 54 allergens RP - Finger prick
The IgE Inhalation Screening Large (Finger Prick) is a comprehensive allergy test that examines whether you are sensitive to 54 different allergens that can cause a reaction through inhalation, food or contact. The test is performed via a simple finger prick, making it easy to take at home.
When your body is exposed to allergens for long periods of time, the immune system may initially respond via IgG antibodies. With continued exposure, this protection may fail, causing an IgE-mediated allergy. This can lead to immediate allergic reactions, such as sneezing, shortness of breath, skin rashes or itching.
The test is divided into different allergen groups, giving you a complete overview of your possible hypersensitivities.
This test screens for the following 54 allergens:
- Trees: Birch, Cypress, Oak, Alder, Hazel
- Animals (dander): Dog, Cat, Horse
- Fungal mix: Alternaria alternata, Aspergillus fumigatus, Cladosporium herbarum, Penicillium notatum
- House dust mix: Dermatophagoides farinae, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, House dust, Cockroach
