Allergy screening inhalation mix
The Phadiatop Inhalation Allergy Test is an initial screening test that determines whether you have an allergic reaction to common substances you inhale through the air. These include pollen, mold spores, pet dander, and dust mites.
This test is designed for people who, for example, suffer from shortness of breath, sneezing, itchy eyes or a stuffy nose when exposed to certain environmental factors.
The Phadiatop test measures IgE antibodies against the following inhalant allergens:
- House dust mite
- Tree pollen mix (TX9)
- Grass pollen mix (GX3)
- Herb pollen mix (WX3)
- Mold mix (MX1)
- Dander from dog (E5)
- Cat dander (E1)
With a negative result, the chance of an inhalation allergy to these substances is very small. With a positive result, there is an allergy, but not yet clear for which specific substance.
Would you like to know exactly which substance(s) you are allergic to? Then follow-up testing is possible. After a positive screening, you can indicate via [email protected] that you would like the follow-up test to be performed.
Cost of follow-up examination: €176.
Additional tests available (€29 each):
- Food mixture (FX5)
- Tree Blend
- Grass mixture
- Herb Pollen Blend
- Mold mixture
- Dander dog (E5)
- Cat dander (E1)
- House dust mite
Other specific allergens: €39.
This screening first looks for mixtures of allergens. A negative result means that you are not allergic to the substances in the mixture. If the result is positive, further testing can be done to determine exactly which substance(s) you are sensitive to.
This test is a complementary health check. The results are not routinely recognized by general practitioners or regular health care providers. For explanation or guidance, please contact the specialized therapists at Blood Value Test.
