    IgE allergies:

In addition, it looks at whether you might also have the more rare IgE allergic reaction, so that you can also look further for IgE allergies.
This IgE reaction is not yet measured for the mentioned nutrients. An IgE reaction can also be caused by animals or pollen, for example, and therefore does not have to be related to food.

IgE total are all IgE complexes that have formed in the body. This can be in response to food, but also to inhalants such as pollen or household dust. IgE is also produced in response to long-term exposure to pathogens, such as parasites.

An increased value of total IgE can therefore indicate a -slight- allergic reaction to food, but also to, for example, the dog, newly mown grass in spring, or to the conifers of the neighbours.

To get an idea of that, we first need to know if you are familiar with hay fever or allergies, for example to nickel or something like that. That is the possible explanation for the reaction.

If you want to know what is going on you should do a breakdown within a month on IgE Inhalation allergens and an IgE Food Screening Medium or Food Screening IgE Small.

Depending on your results you will get a personalized no-obligation recommendation for possible follow-up testing.
