This test consists of blood test (2 x serum 1 x EDTA, 1x lithium heparin tube HB dark blue) or urine examination of the heavy metals: (2 x serum 1 x EDTA)

Heavy metals and some toxic elements such as lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), manganese (Mn), chromium (Cr), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), arsenic (As) and aluminum (Al) are dangerous substances as they can cause certain diseases or have negative effects on our health. Nowadays, exposure to metals can be caused by different sources, especially contaminated food and drinks, but also by occupation. To assess the health risk, a profiling of toxic metals in blood or urine should be performed and evaluated and recommended by a physician or health specialist.
