Is it anonymous?
Blood Value Test never shares your results with insurance companies or (family) doctors. The blood tubes are sent to the address you provide and have a unique barcode that can only be linked to your test by the laboratory. No one else can find out what is being tested. Results are sent only to the e-mail address you provide. Want to place your order under a different name? You can, but make sure not to change your date of birth. This is because the results will be linked to your gender and age.
How do I receive my results?
You will receive your result by e-mail in a PDF document. If an extremely low or high value is found that requires immediate medical intervention, we will contact you for a personal consultation before you receive your result. Other abnormal values are indicated by an up arrow (high value) or down arrow (low value). Keep in mind that a blood or urine test is a snapshot. Sometimes it is wise to repeat tests with abnormal values after a month. In case of medical complaints, we advise you to always consult your (family) physician.
I want to discuss my results with a doctor. Is this possible?
Yes, you can discuss your results with your own doctor. You can also request a consultation via our 'Extra services'. We work together with various doctors, internists and coaches who can help you interpret your results and offer support with any complaints or problems.
